it started with buying the car

Now onto overhauling the rear end and replacing a ball joint

Someone tell me this is all gunna be worth it

On the horizon,
Clutch cable/quadrant, (Steeda?)
replacing fog lights,
replacing mach 460 rear amps,

Quite a nice list of stuff you have done there.

And if you would like a set of PI cams to compliment that intake, I might know someone who will have a set available when he finishes up his cam swap in a week or so.

Upon further investigation the differential was toast.


American Muscle coming up with another shipment

FRPP 3.73s $139.99
FRPP LOK Limited Slip Diff $179.99
FRPP Ring and Pinion Install kit $99.99

Racking up the parts this week.

Not trying to be a dick, but you should have gone ahead and splurged for a K&N filter, it will save you money in the long run

Looks like a nice little project, throw some pics up!

From the previous owners mouth,

"I was driven down the highway and the belt must have broke which lead to the crack in the intake cross over and I didnt notice right away and kept driving."

Well he never said anything about the HOLE IN THE SIDE OF THE BLOCK.

The old motor has been junked.

With the new gears do I have another option besides buying the Ford or aftermarket calibration tool to correct for the right speed?

I think the 96-98 GT's use a mechanical speedometer so you should be able to go and buy a new speedo gear for the 3.73 gears for your Mustang. Hope that helps!
