Ok so it seems with every fox, one has a damn particaluar problem..

so I take my t5 out to put in my tremec, wont turn over, the solenoid was not getting 12v reference. so I rig a momentary switch and make it happen, put on a new solenoid as well, starter works fine..

Thing is it would turn over fine with the neutral safety switch plugged up, but I could start it with no clutch!! So I plug it back up and still nothing, so I go back to my old ways of the switch, it runs fine, and im having a great night, beating a 4 eye vert at a light, and some other ****, anyways, now I have another problem, it wont charge like it was and my solenoid stuck and now the starter has constant 12v flowing to it, not from the top pole, but from the thing sticking or something. So does anybody have a reference, as far as a diagram going to the trans harness, so that I can make sure its getting a signal from the neutral safety switch? I saw a green looking wire up under it last night when I was doing my 4.10's but i ignored it, it looked like it pulled apart, but Ill confirm this tomorrow....

The neutral safety switch isn't part of the starter wiring on a factory and remaining Manual trans car. The Clutch safety switch (inside the car) is what is part of the interlock circuit.

Starting a car with a discharged battery (due to a lack of alternator output, extended periods of sitting, etc) can allow the solenoid to bridge itself, causing power to run to the starter at all times.
