ive had some friends who get cars bought for them and I kinda lose respect for them as far as bragging rights about their car goes. As far as this mustang goes, car is a little crazy looking with those rims but im sure its still a fun car. I wouldn't want to drive it personally but it could be worse.

I would have done like on wanted and thrown the car into a 360, opened the door, and pulled the girl inside while the whole time taking a swig of my big gulp.

how would you feel if a 8 year old girl steped out in front of you into the road? hit the girl or swerve? it was a lose lose situation. kill a little girl or kill the mustang. i know what i would have done. the car can be replaced, and it was. and nah, ryans not like that. he cool about it all and knows he is very lucky to have a new car like that. he also has a saturn now as a daily driver in the ****ty weather that his dad gave to him since it was paid off and was going to be used as a trade in. instead. gave it to him,

i had to pay for my mustang, in fact, i still am. the ranger is my dads, its an extra truck at our house and i drive it when i dont drive the mustang and im responable for the up keep of it when im driving ie, just did new brakes on it all around new tune up, alternator, and battery last week. just becasue our parents help us out dosent mean its all just handed to us.

I don't have kids, but I would never believe that story if I did have a kid, no matter how good of a kid he was. Sorry, not trying to be a jerk, but guys here that have teenage kids always complain about them lying through their teeth.

And, I'm not talking about you at all to don't use the word "us". Ryan, I know that you bought your vert, and mod it yourself. I've seen all your threads, I've seen when you said stuff like "I'm saving up for this so when I get the money I'm buying it." Your car is nice and also a bit different from an 05-08 GT that your friends parents are helping him with. It's cool his parents helped, but he needs to grow up and get some responsibility. I would look your car over at a car show before his car anyday of the week. WHY? Because you built your car yourself, and he got his handed to him.

I'm not gonna pass judgement on the kid, I totalled a car a month ago and I'm sure a LOT of people don't believe the story as to why it happened. It's true a lot, probably most, teenagers lie through their teeth about everything, but then again, some tell the truth. It's the whole cry wolf theory, only because ALL teenagers will lie, you get branded a liar no matter what.

The car he has is nice looking in my opinion, and I like to hear he takes care of it, doesn't drive it in the bad weather etc...

I just hate the cocky 20 year old kids who got things handed to them and think they own the world. Very rare do you see a 20 year old with a nice car and a humble attitude. The two just dont go well together.

If you say your friend is humble, doesn't brag, doesn't call people out, and doesn't act like he owns the world, than he sounds like a good guy and I commend him for that.

Buuut, you and him are definately different. You bought your car, you pay for everything done to it, you don't get help with paying for things, so in my eyes you have the higher ground to stand on between the two cars! Be proud of that, even though he has a new, nice, mint car, yours was bought, built, and done solely by you.
