MY CAR WONT STOP DINGING

Some how the tab in th door that pushes the button to make the door stop dinging got bent back and my car will not stop dinging. It feels like the tab is going to break off if I try to bend it back. HELP

Ok I got it to stop, but its just a quick fix. Anyone know how to just remove this thing?

How to remove the pin switch? It has a bolt head on it - it looks like you unscrew it and pull the switch out. There is probably one terminal on it that you disco'.

I cant picture the mating tab you are talkin about - I would have to look.

Why does your chime ding with the door open? It should only do it if the key is not off or the lights are on, right.

I think it dings when hes driving cuz the key is in the ignition and the car thinks the door is open.
