I was thinking about this on the drive home yesterday. I guess that I average 1.5 years between buying cars since I've been 15.

Of my list, the only cars that ever left me stranded on the side of the road was the Neon (trans) and the Daytona (timing belt)

The '79 Honda I bought off my parents after high school. The '83 Honda @ '86 Monte I bought as beaters for the early 'GT's I owned when I stored them for the winter. All the Fords I've owned have been great vehicles. No complaints at all.

The only car i hated was the valiant and thats cuz it was a parts car and it was ugly as #$%^.... the Z was a great rwd car to learn with.. it wasnt fast, but when your 16.. its was quick lol..

Proly cuz ima youngen and i never got to own all these 60's comaros chevelles and mopar's. It's not that im ashamed of my car tho, love it more than most (in case of the GF) anything. Tho mine doesn't run 12.6's like yours
