Hey, I just purchased a 2007 GT Mustang without the MY COLOR option and was wondering if I could get it added at a dealer or if i could maybe install it myself? Thanks!

Found a couple links to help you out. Looks like you can (and sort of have to) bring it to a dealer since you'll need to swap over the information from your gauge cluster (like mileage) to the new one.

The wiring must already be there. It was for early 2005 models. But I think Ford quit installing the wiring on non IUP models after that.
The entire guage cluster must be replaced. Without wiring already in place, I think you likely are out of luck.

The dash is green without it. At least it was on the rental V6 I got one week.

You can do it, I did it to my '07. But before you get your hopes up, pull the switch blank to the left of the power port on the dash. If there's a wire connector plugged into that blank, you're good to go. You'll need to buy the cluster, and the switch pack that goes where the blank is now. As others have stated, you do need to get the dealer to load your VIN and mileage into the new cluster.

Alloygt is correct. I have an '05 and did the swap a couple of years ago. You have to pop the dummy plug out next to the power point on the dash like alloygt said. If the harness plug is there you can do it, but you'll need to replace that dummy plug with the switch assy in addition to the gauge cluster. The good news is the gauge cluster swaps out in like 5 minutes.
