I thought that I should put a picture of my 65 coupe on here, so here it is. This is an older picture from a few years ago, but it still looks the same. I just wish I could drive it. It should be on the road again within 6 months to a year from now.

I think it sits way too high in the front. It has mostly new suspension in this picture. I hope the 1 inch lowering springs and the V8 that replaces the I6 will bring the front down.

Here is the 200 in its glory days. It was all freshened up. It ran great and had a brand new 1 bbl Autolite carburetor. A few years later it died and then a donor 200 was installed which only lasted a short time.

Very nice! There's just something about a black '65 that I love. My '65 fastback was black since then I always felt black was THE color for '65's.

Nice mustang! Looks like a helluva project. Is the new suspension for a 6 cyl or a v8 model? Good luck with it...post pics along the way if you can. She's gonna be so much more fun when it's all done.

Zookeeper....I wanna agree because I love black too. But heres a color...I think it's called twilight turquoise that just melts me down every time I see it. Wish I was rich lol.

Thanks for the compliments. Ya'll have some nice looking Stangs too! I like the Shelby. The green fastback looks like Bullit. Sweet!

Actually, the original color of my Mustang is twilight turquoise. It may look black now, but it is really caspian blue. The interior is black though. I like black on classic Mustangs as well.

At the time the pictures were taken, almost all of the suspension was replaced. It is all 6 cylinder stuff. I am about to replace all of the steering components and other front end parts and front coils to convert to V8 components.

I am going to take some pictures of it tonight. They won't be as good because it is in the garage. I'll get an interior shot too.

Here are the pictures that I took tonight. Please excuse the cheesy 13 inch wheels. They came off of the Falcon that now has my old AR wheels. Also, there must be dust on the camera lense, because the spots on the paint etc are not really there.

Here are some current pictures of it in its stable next to the Cobra. All of the I6 driveline has been removed. Soon the rear axle and front spindles etc will be swapped over to the Granada and Lincoln stuff.

I recently rebuilt the entire instrument cluster. That was one thing that didn't get much attention before. We had speedometer problems. I also put the early clear parking light lenses. I think it looks better, at least on my car. The next project will be rebuilding the heater box. We did rework alot of it back when we rebuilt most of the car, but I am going to replace the heater core and hoses and freshen things up maybe some of the foam. I got a new foam kit for 10 bucks from Virginia Mustang. That will be my next project.

What do you guys think about the 289 V8 fender badges? I saw some that say 302. My dad thinks that it looks better with out them. I kind of agree, since it makes it more of a sleeper.

Does anyone have a clean set of 15x7 Magnum 500 wheels that they want to sell?

The coupe is looking sharp already! I love a good project. Man you're making me miss my old white 65 coupe now. I personally like the fender badges....but my stang isnt a sleeper.....its totally passed out lol.

That's the color for sure. But those pics dont do it justice. I think a guy on here named tylers65 has a fastback that color and t looks amazing. In the sun is where it really shines.
