My Cruise Control Won't Work

I just bought a 98 Cobra and the only problem is that the Cruise Control won't engage. I searched the forums and can't find an answer. Can anyone help?

I had this problem on my '00 GT. I accidently knocked the cable off the throttle body. Start there and make sure everything is hooked up.

i have the same problem but mine is just picky. Sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't till i bang it a couple of times. Ford couldn't figure out why?

I had that same problem. I realized quite by accident one day, was that my foot was resting, just slightly on the clutch... I haven't had any trouble since I discovered my error.
