Should be painted Laser Red by May. Sprayed the final layer of primer today on the body. Just need to sand it down and make sure there is no more low spots and then i can paint it

I made the GT500 hood thats on it in the first picture but it isn't going to fit over my motor

Awesome work on the from end with all this sheet aluminum. Too bad about the hood not fitting.

is there the possibility of using the lowered engine mounts?? or fabing up some of your own? cause its a real shame that the hood won't fit.

No if i can't get some offcenter bushing for my flaming river steering i have to move the mounts up 1/2 an inch because the oil pan is already hitting the steering as it is.

Holy crap that's an awesome project!!! So you made the front aprons/rad support yourself right? I would like to do that on the other 68 when we start on it.

Ditto on the alum work, very nice. Although the whole car looks great. Good luck with the engine/hood situation. How much more room do you need? Could you redo the hood by raising the scoop area without a major change in looks?

god that blows!!! that looks like a masterpiece of a hood!! im geussing that the glass didn't fit the greatest to begin with.

i spose with the engine, there's not a whole lot of wiggle room to re-route the wheel.

Great looking Fastback! I love the modified suspension set up and I'm completely jealous. Keep up the good work and make sure you keep us posted on the project. It really looks like a quality piece.
