BTW....Here is a great site for a Tire, Gear & Speed/RPM Calculator!!!
So far it is the best I've seen.
It includes all different Stang trannys.

Good review. I have my 4.10's sitting in a box next to me I am just waiting for my head gaskets to get here so I can stick the motor back in, when that gets done then the gears go in.

Don't worry, you'll get there.
The anticipation is half the fun.

menasci, why are you calling bs? he has a newer t45 in his cobra ( one from a 99 gt) so the odometer hook up to the tranny is electric but the harness is a toothed gear so he actually hasnt had a odometer or spedometer in awhile. All i know is that his cobra is a 3,000rpms on the highway and we seem to be going around 70....could someone give me the rpms for 4.10s @ 70mph on the t45 and the t3650?

Well, glad to hear happy 4.10 customer. I decided to buy the bulk amount of FRPP 4.10s (30 sets) so I could get a good price for our website. Looks like I went with the right ring and pinion ratio.

i got 4.10's,alum d/s waiting to go in feb 7.i wanted to wait to get my suspension done first, which goes in jan 31.i didn't waant traction issues at all.so i got kenny brown strut tower brace, k-brace, full subs.and fms c springs w/tokiko struts and shocks.and finally jds upr and lwr c/a's.i can't wait to get it all done.the next three weeks are goin to be long.so i'm happy to here the good review.i'll post one when i get everything in.the complete suspension only cost me $850 shipped all new parts.i like the fact that i spent under a $1000 for, what i feel is a bangin suspension system.

ford motorsport 410

ihave a 2002 gt aode i have flowmasterdelta40s, mac o/r hpipe ,k&n,410 gears , custom tuned diablochip. my review on the gears are that the day i got them installed i took my car out for a spin of course i had to get on the beltway leaving the shop and my buddy was following me we were palyin garound a little bit i mashed it going about 60 and it climbeb to 90 really quick but i was exspecting more. so we come to a red light side by side the light turned green and i mashed it it spun thru first go sideways into second a little bit and pulled very hard thru the rest. i was very impressed 50mph is about 2,000 70 is about 2.800. a week later i got my chip burnt holy crap that made a huge diffrence. they did every thing the most noticable was that they stiffened the shift point know it gets completly sideways in second. awsome off the line. i raced my buddy against his foxbody that runs 13.5 and i beat him barely. so im thinkin 13.5 on street tires maybe 13.2 on dragradials. i hopre this helps somebody decide between 373 or 410. 410 allthe way.

Thanks Menasci!!

....on my way to mustangsunlimited to return my 3:73's and purchase 4:10's instead.....Im convinced!! I was going to get the Mongoose Vortech kit over at MPH next month, but I would be depleting my whole savings account and something tells me thats not to smart, lol. So it's 4:10's, Flowmasters (already have my BBK O/R-X), Pro 5.0 shifter and SCT X-Cal
