How about the idea of putting a glass back in between the h pipe and muffler somewhere? Will that take out some of the booming ang loudness? Any other ideas? How about the thrush turbo, is that real loud? http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=1275&prmenbr=361 Thx.

Ok, did the search. LOOKS like this is the best alternative and better flowing than a 50 series as well.

Other than that I would have opted for the 2 chmbr delta flow but hell I don't feel like paying $90 for a damn muffler!(right now at least). Muffler prices seem to be on the RISE! Don't mind me, I am just talking to myself! LOL.

I dont think the flows are loud at all to be honest. I think they are perfect

BTW Juiced 94 GT...love the Avaitor!

Yep. I know what you are saying. I am wondering if it booms more being a cloth top vert. Dunno. I love the sound absolutely but the boomy-ness is what has been driving me nuts. Plus I want to go into more of a sleeper mode. When I hit it right now, everybody knows within a mile radius. I want to be able to hit it and not be so obvious.

Right now I have 3 chamber flows with a BBK X-Pipe + cats and it's only loud when you're WOT. During daily drives to the store it isn't really that loud at all.

I had 2 chamber flows on my 86 gt with hollowed cats and that was very loud indeed. I think the combination of running hi-flo cats with the 3 chamber mufflers is just right if your looking for street legal with a sound and vibration that you can stand around town. Some will disagree and don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved my 86 and the way it sounded too, just not on long distance drives.
