Fuel My fuel door does not close all the way?

I tried to figure out why my fuel door never shuts then I noticed that these two pieces pass each other without making contact with each other, so the fuel door can’t be closed property. Do any of these pieces look shorter than they should be or need adjustment? Maybe the latch?
