Alright well lets start off with my problem.
The car wouldnt build up rpms like it should. It would just rev up slow when you were going down the street at WOT and would start to backfire into the intake. This was regardless if the car was warm or not, although it was worse when the car was cold. After about 5 mins of driving it was fine, drove normal. If you turned it off and let it sit for 3 mins and go drive it again, you would have the same problem. Fuel pressure would drop with a good hesitation from the engine when trying to rev immidiately after engine startup.
I did full tuneup, checked MAF, changed ECT, new AFPR, new Fuel Filter, none of which made any difference what so ever.
So I bought a 255lph pump and this totally fixed it. Car runs awesome now, I still have a missing problem up top, but this wasnt a tenth as bad as what it was like before.
I should have known the pump was goign bad because it was making a loud whining noise. I always thought it was just the exhaust. The new pump whines more than stock, but its a nice whine, sounds cool hehe.
130 bucks for the pump, and a few hours to replace it. I think shops charge in excess of $400 to change the fuel pump.
