My new 347 powered by a 671!!!

I have a bunch of pic's saved to snapfish, I'm just trying to figure out how to use them here without taking each pic from snapfish and saving them to my computer and then adding them here. I need a little bit, I'm not the computer guy......

I need to make a gear change, I have a 300 rear gear in it. I have two pullies, one is for 5psi, which makes the motor 1 to 1, so I can run it on pump gas. And the second makes 16-18psi and runs with 110 race fuel. I brought the car to the track and couldn't get any traction, my best time was 11.90 at 115 mph. I have a th400 tranny and never got the car out of second gear, which is a problem. I dyno'd the car with the 1 to 1 pulley, unturned running fat and it pulled 410 rwhp and 629 fpt...... I'm hoping to dyno it agin with the other pulley.

If your pix are already on the web, you only need to copy the URL then type URL, pasting the URL in the slot where indicated. You also need to delete the spaces I added to the inside of each set of brackets. I added those spaces because otherwise the forum would have made the bracketed terms "img" and "/img" invisible.

hth, and no I'm not a computer guy either.

Yes, looking back on it the c6 would have been much easier. I had a racing 350 already in the garage, needless to say, they didn't hold the torque, so I broke two of them. I aready had the ultra-bell from J&W so I went with the 400. I like the combo but went through hell getting it. My over all goal is a 9 sec street car... I am going to the track on Weds, so I will post new numbers.. Thanks for the positive feedback.

Has anyone used the two stage msd launch control box? I was briefly reading an article about the box controls your launch, so you can launch at a certain rpm and H.P. to allow traction and it controls you wheel spin. This way I can launch with a transbreak and not blow of my M/T drag radials.

If traction is already a problem, I don't think changing r&p will help much, and a 2 step will not do much either. As soon as the brake releases, the motor will instantly flash the converter. If traction is borderline it might help, but not if it just blows the tires away. What size are the tires?
