Will, I like the one-off stuff like that.

I dont have gauges down there but will toss out one thing which might or might-not be of use in the future. If you desire to have the guages angled more towards you (as seen in the driver's seat), AM makes a bezel kit that does this. I have no idea how it would interface with your design. And I bet your angle on the gauges is just great the way it is.

Thanks for all the compliments. I figured someone else would already have done this, lol.

I just used a piece of sheet aluminum painted black from my brother's circle track car, and it took some time to get it to fit nice. It's cut just small enough that it's kind of a press fit.

I thought it would be hard to see too, but it's way easier than the picture makes it look. I was going to angle them like hissin said, but once they were in I saw that i won't have to.

The head unit is a Sony, I think 8800 or something, I can't remember off the top of my head. It's really nice, and blends in pretty well.

The gauges are just Autometer phantom series full sweep gauges.

Have a good easter weekend! Will

They make a plate that holds either two or three guages for out lower radio den. The plate is actualy made for a VW i think but it works perfect. Ill try and post a link
