I posted a thread week or so ago asking various questions on how my new gears would perform. I got alot of great feedback and everyone was helpful. There were a few that suggested it was difficult to set new gears up. I used an article I found on Corral that was super easy to understand. I figured I would wait a little to post this until I had a few hundred miles on them. I have about 400 or so now and have no noise or issues at all with them. I also ended up rebuilding the posi while I was in there, easy enough to do. I recommend to anyone to get the FMS gear's because you can used the MHD setup to get the pinion depth right and then then the rest is a breeze.

from what ratio, to what? also what do you think about the swap? i went from 273's to 373's, and i do think its a good mod, but over hyped.

Over Hyped a bit for sure but a worth while mod that I can notice for sure!! I am happy even though I went with just 3:55's from the stockers, 2:73's. I have a pretty much stock 5.0L (for now!). I have a set of new AFR 185's but I think I am going to buy a whole new motor and mod it out to the max in 6 months or so and just swap my original 5.0 for it.
