My poor ride

Last friday afternoon I was involved in a car accident which resulted in my car getting banged up on the front driver side, fender, bumper, tire, rim, steering, suspension, windshield, and both air bags were deployed, no one was injured, and not to mention the clown that shoot out in front of me yelling and screaming saying it was my fault but the fact of the matter when he made an improper left turn at a right turn only and two witnesses saying it was his fault, I think i should be alright, and now the insurance company saying i have about $5k worth of damage, my ride will never be the same again to me and after consideration, I plan on getting rid of it around the fall time and getting a new one, maybe a lil more like a used cobra or saleen, even though i still have payments left on it, i go the extra mile to put down a lil more for the down payment for a new car, my question is, is worth it looking for a new car again, should i just get another gt or what?

Anytime I need to replace a part, I always go down the road of looking for a better component or in your case maybe look at upgrading to a Cobra or Mach. It doesn't look too bad though. See how you feel after getting it fixed, but at the same time, keep an open mind. Good luck with the fix.

That doesn't look bad at all. I have seen alot worse! With the technology now a days a cars frame can be straightened even better from the day it left the factory. In this case, your unibody. I wouldn't worry bout it. If I were you though I would upgrade the body parts. Cobra hood, bumper, different fenders, etc. Take advantage of it. And last, go to a reputable bodyshop. It will be all good!
