I took my car to Gearheads and got it dynoed on 08/08/08. The shop was about 40miles from me. And I had less then 30min to let the car cool down in 95 degree temperature. First pull we were having problems with the tach lead and the car dynoed 175rwhp and 352 rwtq! lol... then we kept meesing with the lead and kept getting better rwhp numbers, jumped to 198rwhp then 212rwhp then 280.71rwhp and finally 282.62rwhp and 326.83rwtq ... after 6 pulls which I think by then the little M90 was just serving as a HAIR DRYER to the motor. I think that on a fresh pull (cold) without tach lead problems it may had done better.

I dont know if that is what the S2 supercharged s281 puts down stock, but all I had was a off road x pipe.

I know changed just the mufflers to the slp LM1's and damn! my freaking car is way loud!

My air fuel is steady at 12 but I am not sure if that is lean or rich!? I forget.
I dont have a scanner and I cant find my camera but I took pics of the dyno on my phone and I will post them up as well with my little video of the last pull on my phone.

right after the dyno stopped at the first muffler shop to get the SLP LM1's welded on:

here are the best pics of the last 2 dyno pulls:

and my little pull...

Are you using the stock pulley and stock intercooler if so your numbers look about stock, maybe a bit lower. I was going to say the numbers could be a bit higher but your already on a dynojet. My car pulled 318hp and 369tq on a mustang dyno which i heard reads kinda low. It was on this new dyno they had. He used 3 huge fans and the back tires of the car was on two rollers instead of one. He also tuned it for me, are you running of the stock saleen tune, or did he tune it?

You mentioned in 95 degree weather, my car was also on the dyno in 95 degree weather, except he had 3 fans. I couldnt tell but i didnt see any fans in your video which if thats the case they just heat soked your car because it isnt moving, when you drive your car cools off, but your stock fans cant simulate driving thats why they use huge fans to help simulate the drag and amount of air. I would suggest, getting the chicane intercooler if you dont want to do the mod i did, and get a custom tune and pulley upgrade, you will be happy you did. Where are you located? i would suggest going to a different tuner next time. Do you have the series 1 or 2 supercharger? if you havnt seen my graph checkout my other thread again.

It was in 95 degree weather, no fans were in front of the car, the dynojet has 2 rollers, the car came with what I think is the S2 blower, it has the stock pulley and it was not tuned just SALEEN tune. I just wanted to get a base run, they didnt dyno tune it or anything. I have a 66mm pulley that I am going to install here shortly, and I need the mosaleen idler. I have ceramic headers that also will go along with the pulley, I will do your mod (not going to spend $800 if I plan on going turbo in the future), and an aluminum d/s and 3.55's are going on it.

I also plan on porting the hell out of the intake and maybe buying a 75mm tb unless I can find a 80mm.

I still dont know if 12a/f is lean or rich? any help in that.

How much power are you looking for? You will spend alot doing dual pumps, i would suggest buying a svt focus pump, it swaps right in perfectly. As for 42's those are good for 500hp i believe i upgraded to those because eventually a kenny bell will be going on, but i dont plan on anything more powerfull than 450 in the long run. I say buy some 42's unless you going to be doing it big and redoing the whole block along with a new supercharger then do 60's. As for the air fuel thats actually about normal, most say you want to be 11.5-12 through out all the rpms. Whats wierd is you normally run extra rich with that saleen powerflash tune. I wonder whats going on, maybe your tapping out on fuel injectors or your stock fuel pump... What i would suggest is removing the supercharger, upgrade your pulley, upgrade injectors, port intake (and supercharger if your want more power), upgrade fuel pump, use some sheet metal to guide the air back into the intercooler. And then you should be at the 320+ mark. I have a series one and i got 320 without the port. Your lucky you have a series 2, because i read that my series one has a different inlet so i cant upgrade it to a series iv version I might just get it ported or find a series II or IV somewhere and swap it out.

This is the cheapest place i found the pump

well the goal for the stock bottom end is just whatever best numbers I can get from the S2 blower, with minimal $ spent on it. But the final goal is 500rwhp to 600rwhp from a built motor and single turbo kit. So I will invest in cams and the fuel side cause I will reuse the parts on the big boy motor.

But I did also notice the the intake from the MAF to the TB is different than the original plastic tube... I will post a old pic... maybe it will show it.

I'd think about getting a custom tune for your car. Each car varies....and some of the saleen tunes were good while others were not. I was at 304rwhp stock on a dynojet....it turns out my factory tune was pretty strong.

After custom tuning, the chicane pulley, NGK plugs, and svt fuel pump I was at 341rwhp.

PS- an a/f ratio of 12 is ok.

I have a 66mm pulley just waiting, I also have the tr6's brand new just waiting, as well as the shorties ceramic coated frpp headers and I need time to take the car to get the aluminum drive shaft installed and the 3.55's or 3.73's. My buddy will the the custom tune, and I need to cough up the $150 for the predator that is waiting for me at HPP.

Sweet car man!
Pulley change and a good dyno tune should wake it up. Also, check your sparkplugs.
See my dyno in sig for comparison.

No I dont have any under the hood pictures man. Im in Iraq right now..so I cant take any for you. I installed the whole kit including the K Member in my garage, it wasnt too hard of a install. Came out really clean though. I put down 535rwhp and 506 trq on 17lbs of boost. My biggest limitability is my stock heads..minus the cams. The cams hit very softly, its MPH custom grind turbo cams...which I think are the best for hp gains IMO. My supporting mods are a .20 VT Shortblock, T56, 31 spline rearend with Eaton Posi, 03/04 Cobra Tank and Pumps, with a KB BAP and 60lb injectors. BTW very nice Saleen...Im down in the Killeen/ Ft Hood area.

You have everything in my shopping list! lol....

Your at my goal horsepower range and you have the tranny I planned on. Thanks for the props on the car... but something tells me that yours is 100x's better and nicer. What kind of $ was your final note? and the only thing that brings me down about my car is that the front bumper seems like it sags a little. it is not completly flushed underneath the headlights. I would say about 1/4 of an inch off.

ps: THANKS FOR KICKING ASS OUT THERE HOMIE! SOME OF MY BUDS ARE FIGHTING NEXT TO YOU. HOLD THE FORT DOWN...AND NOW THAT WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU GUYS DO!

love the car.... nice deep sound too. What mufflers are on the center exhaust?

I have some tr6's that I am yet to install and I plan on taking of the blower and do that sheetmetal mod to rig the intercooler. I cant install the pulley till I have more fuel. and I want to do the headers but I may not have time.

I will keep you guys updated.

Thanks man,
I have full exhaust on the car. Ford Stainless headers, Stainless off road h- pipe and stainless Magnaflow muffs. The sound is definitely deep and gets abnoxiously loud at wot.

Keep us up with your progress.

meng! I took my car to the gym on Sunday, and my alarm honks once when armed and twice when dissarmed... I was there from 8-10pm and when I was leaving it honked 3 times, meaning that the alarm was set off!

I noticed a cop car on my left a few cars down and then began to inspect the car [mine] and the key hole was damaged! someone was trying to get into it!!!
The apperantly got into a s197 type mustang but didnt take anything so the guy said... and it turned out the guy with the 05-08 mustang is a Rockwall cop!!

that was crazy!

my door where the key goes is slightly bent, You really wont notice it unless you try to put the key in. BUT STILL... MUTHA****ERS!!! GRRRRRRRR....

i say since our cars are already keyless and if this happened to mine it would give me another reason to plug that whole up and paint over it, like the passenger side.

Who tuned this car? You are leaving some HP on the table. 12.0 is a little lean, not leaving much room for a mechanical issue, we like to see them 11.7 across the board. How much boost are you running?
