hey man, even though i am just about as jealous as i can be right now im happy for you.. remember not to get caught up and take it slow! haha drive slow and wash her at least once/twice a week.. keep her clean. haha she looks beautiful. break her in nice n slow, but you know.. she is a girl and sometimes when the times right you can go ahead and be alittle rough... i drove one 2 weeks ago and she was just screaming for more

haha sry got alittle carried away there. but seriously im jealous like no other! haha well just another 3mo till mine? haha still c/u. but i have faith. all in due time.

haha thanks guys. I'm breakin' her in nice and slow. 66 miles so far. The only thing is the smell. When I shut 'er down it stinks like burnin something. I was told it was more than likely the engine cleaner and shine they put on it when detailing it or the plastic from the factory or something. Forgot exactly what they said. (100% sure its not my clutch ) But all is going well. I love driving it and I love the extra boost of power over my Ranger. Now I'm just worried off my a** about my car. I don't like leaving it out at night, I don't like hearing the rocks clank in the wheel well, I don't want my baby gettin hurt.

Sanctus...it's worth the wait. Trust me

Now here are a few questions to throw at ya...Should I wait for the window to drop before opening the doors? Anyone got any tips for dodging the dings?

Lol these aren't meant to be fantastical...just something I did real quick to post. I do admit I suck though....I'll try my luck at professional ones (done myself) some other time.

I rather like the picture of the grille I took

Same exact thing here, except I'm driving it hard like its a rental! I don't want the "drive by wire" to think I'm a wuss. Got 150 miles on it now, 100 last night and 50 tonight.

I just hear not to go over 3k RPMs durring the first 3k miles while the engine is broken in.

I've heard that too. What exactly happens to the car if you go above that before it's "broken in."

Nothing. The rings are already seated by the time you get the car. Just change the oil and filter after the first 500 miles and enjoy.

Congrats! Here's some nanners...

If you can hear rocks clanking, that usually means they hit up in the wheel wells where they can't do any damage. I know what you mean though - I hate that sound.

Ya, it's hurts when you get rock chips in the front. I rather have little rock chips then a big door ding. Congrats and keep her clean. Don't baby it, she doesn't like. Use variable RPM's and bring her up to red lines often. Actually the first 20 miles are the true break in period with these new honing processes.

As mentioned above, that's misinformation. In the old days it was good to VARY the engine rpm's in the beginning. Now, the engines are broken in before they get put in the car.

Have fun! I think you'll enjoy the power band between 4-6k!!

Question for you GT owners

Can you hit 60 in second gear? If so, what are your RPMs? While I am asking,
here are some more. Can you give me your max speed per gear? Just wondering....
