I knwo i haven't updated Ya'll on my car in a long time so i figured i'd throw this up to lets ya's know how its going. As some of you know my hood flew up smashed my windshield and and did some damage this was back in October like couple weeks into the month. Well i had the idea of getting the whole car repainted while it was in the shop if i could get a loan for the money.

He's what happened weeks went by not knowing what was going on with the new hood guy at the shop said he would look around at some books and sites and let me know i said ok and i was gonna do some looking well he never did so i ended up finially getting a 5.0 Mag and finding one in there so the hood was ordered. I applied for the loan and the bank said i needed a secured loan or a cosigner, secured for anyone who don't know means you need the amount your asking for in your account (DUH IF I HAD THE MONEY WHY WOULD I ASK FOR IT ) so my grand mother said she would cosign i finish the papers and take them back i call in a few days no you need the secured your cosigner ins't good enough i was pissed so i told her to just forget it. I called the shop told um to just fix what the insurance would cover. So more time goes by I stop out at the shop ask hows my car "its in teh paint booth now winshield gets put in wednsday you shold have it back by the end of the week" I was all excited well end of teh week comes no call from the shop so i decide to stop by on the way home from work as i'm driving down the driveway i look over at my car pretty long driveway and i tell my dad paints different i can tell from here we look the repainted parts look olive green. Guy says when the painted it the car looked great inside when they pulled it outside the paint changed color gotta have the insurance come out and look at it about repainting it again. 2 weeks later (yesterday) i get a cal insurance is paying to repaint the whole front end of my car doors forward they are suppose to be painting it this week and hope to have it back to me by next week. Lets see if it happens this time i sure hope so I want to be able to drive it before it snows

AND I will now have hood pins haha guy that owns the shop has some nice low profile ones on his drag camaro that i liked so they hooked me up with a set 35 bucks a set but hopfully it will look nice

can say 1 thing about the new hood looks a lot better then the old one did better fit got just about all the washers out of the fender the guy that put the old one on put in there to try to line it up

well this is long enough so i'll lets ya's know when i get it back and post some pics wish me luck i need it

Sorry to hear about the paint not matching.................Next time you post can you use some periods please. Your post was the hardest to read because you don't have ANY periods or commas. No flames intended, just letting you know.

Its not they don't have pride their really busy out there and i understand that, its the best body shop around they do damn good work and my car and truck won't go anywhere but their shop I know the owner he's a damn nice guy hooked me up big time the insurance wanted to total my car but he told me to bring it out kept it inside so nothing would happen to it. I draged my feet for a while too hoping that i could come up with the extra money to do the whole thing so its partly my fault but i'm at the point now i just want it back i miss it my truck don't have the throw ya back in your seat power the car does

anyway....

shame about the guy having another car in the same color. i think that that would be a color that you do once and get it out of your system. just IMO. not saying its a bad color, i do really like it, but its just really loud.

well i tryed to take some tonight with my digi and it didn't work guess the battery was dead do i took a couple on a throw away will have to run out to walmart and get them done tonight after dinner. front looks good. From like the door handles back though you can see where the old color is which kinda sucks but i expected that. And when they repainted the second time they didn't repaint under the hood so its still the shady green

i noticed it right away in the light this afternoon took my dad walking over to it too see but he's blind lol, I'm positive people will be able to tell the new paint is so much brighter then the old crap. Hopefully I hit it big soon and can get the rest painted. Didn't get the pics done tonight went to sleep doing nothing all day at work wears me out lol. Hopefully tomorrow is nicer and i can get the digi working and get some pics of it

finally get to see it larger than the avatar... looks sweet man, and the torq ii thrusts match well

on the posting, you have to right click the picture, copy the address, then put it in brackets- you don't just put the file name in brackets

thanks lol i'm used to plain and simple website design with html. This is like rocket science in here i liked it back in the day when it threw the pics up itself

Are you talking about my rims? cause i had no idea what those were called. They were on it when i got it all i know is they are American Racing. I need to take teh time to clean them up and they would look a hell of a lot better.
