I am about to order a set of adjustable Tokico struts but they have 2 types. One is street BB-3026 and one is for drag RB-3026.. Anyone know what the difference is between the 2??

Quoted from http://www.maximummotorsports.com/tokico.asp:

Tokico Illumina 5-way Adjustable Sport Shocks
You can fine tune the handling of your Mustang with the Illumina 5-way adjustable gas-charged sport shocks. Adjustment is easily done using a small screwdriver without having to remove the strut or shock. The Illumina uses a special bypass/shutter valve system which provides simultaneous adjustment of both compression and rebound. The adjustable valving allows you to tune your shocks to match your spring rates as well as make small adjustments to optimize performance.

Tokico Drag Race Struts
These 5-way adjustable struts are designed for street/strip duty. They have much softer valving than the standard Illuminas. At the stiffest setting they are equivalent to the standard Illumina’s number 2 setting, which is similar to the Mustang’s original factory shock valving.

So basically, if you want road handling (which is what I am all about), get the Illumina series. If you are planning on dragging (and sounds like not much else based on the settings), then go with the drags.

I personally, being on a limited budget, just ordered the HP Blues - non-adjustable with the matching Tokico springs. Awaiting delivery...

Myke email me at evil91stang@killerpower.com if interested in any tokico setup. I would personally go with the Illumina's as well as the other guy stated, but it really is up to what your planning on doing with the car.-J
