I'm looking for a FE specialist in/or around the Charlotte, NC area. I have a 428 that needs to be built and I want someone good, reliable, and an FE guy.

Any suggestions? Please!

Thanks,
David

Thanks again,

He'll need to register as well, may take a hour or two or maybe a day, not sure how the approval process works, but I don't think it's automatic.

But with a '68 clone GT500 and a 390 GT car he needs to be a member, huh?

Hmmmm, who in the North Carolina area is a good FE builder.... uh....... Holman Moody? LOL!!!

I don't know if Lee is building engines, but I'd guess he does. You also paying a bit for the name there as well. Another FE builder would be Keith Craft in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and Kuntz & Co. is there as well, but I think they specialize in race only engines. Gessford Machine in Hastings Nebraska is a top notch dude as well. Blue Oval Performance and Livernois in Michigan are supposed to be good as well and you'll should be able to buy a Roush FE from Ford as a crate engine now. It has a new crossbolted Genesis block and Edelbrock heads, all brand new stuff.

I'd suggest looking at DSC Motorsports, Flatlander Racing, Carl's Ford Parts, Precision Oil Pumps, David Kee Toploader Transmissions for parts if your doing some of it yourself.

I'd call Precision Engine in Sylvania GA. They do Fords for folks all over the country. Call Bill (Ford) at 912-863-3973.
