Need A/C help?

What would cause the air to come out my defrost vents as opposed to the a/c vents it is supposed to come out of. I can put the knob on mix, normal, max it does not matter...the air still comes out of the defrost vents. It was fine this morning and this afternoon it started doing that. Any ideas? Thanks!!

There is a vaccum line that runs from the driver side of you firewall to the passenger side. It is very small and goes into the firewall on the pass side. It probably broke somewhere around your upper intake.
