We have em at Autozone, I think they are like $119 plus tax. They are nice batteries but personally not worth it, I'd just buy one of our Duralast Golds and be done with it, they are about $50 dollars cheaper have a 3 year free replacement and about the same cold cranking amps. The technology in the Optimas is advanced but there isn't much to batteries they don't do much , they start the car and run accesories when the motor is off.

I use the highend Autozones. They seem to last longer than Sears, and there is an Autozone store nearly everywhere I go, from Maine to Louisiana. They are also open late and on weekends. I have replaced my other brands with them after limping off of I 10 a couple times.
I was thinking Optima for the 82, when I go trunk mount.

I usually use one of the cheaper ones. ( had good luck with Walmarts top one ), but now use one of the 13lb ones similar to dynabat. If you don't drive it in very cold weather or have a big stereo system, it works pretty well. It just doesn't have a large reserve capacity. It takes a good amount of weight off the car.

The Optima's are the best you can get. But if you run them down all the way, the tend to go bad sooner than a regular battery. I have a draw in my 89 so I don't want to risk that. I have an Interstate that honestly must have been run down 10 times in 3 years and it still works fine.
