Need a part from Fellow Stangers'

Last night I went to finally change a burnt-out bulb in my speedo cluster and noticed that the servo-motor in the back wasn't sitting in properly. I swear I only touched it and the worm-gear on the end must have been brittle because it broke. Now I'm without any odometer again. :damnit:

Any of you have this servo-motor that has the worm-gear on it? I'd be willing to purchase it from you if allowable... I know I could just go to a junkyard and get a whole inst. cluster, but thats looking at least $75.00 - $100.00 and I'm not guaranteed it would work.

Could you help a brother out ?????

you would have to find someone that had a wrecked stang.... not sure why anyone would have that part just lying around?

(phew) I talked to one of my local wrecker-yard contacts and he was able to get me a whole cluster(120mph) for nada..

So now I've got some stock guages laying around....

To all those that looked, thx....

Now I see WHY it was for free. None of the guages nor the odometer was working. They were all rusted from being outside too long once I opened it up. So now I'm back to where I started from without a working odometer again.

That's what I guess I'll have to look for. If anyone has recently replaced their inst. cluster or know of where I can locate one from a wrecked Stang, please PM me and let me know....
