I have a 96 Cobra and my 1-2 synchro is going out. I need to get a rebuilt transmission. Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good one at a good price?
That should be a t-45. Might try the junks; they used them in the GT's too. Try to find a low-miler. Other than that, rebuilts run right around $1,000. Try D&D, ProMotion. Or, you might try Hanlon Motorsports in PA; if you ship if to him, he can rebuild it for you. His prices might be pretty good. Give him a call; he's a really great guy.
