I'd like to know if there are any starter solenoids the bolt right up and replace the factory starter solenoid.

But, I need one with a little longer thread

What options are out there and part numbers would be nice...

Thanks!

Check out the junction blocks in the link. I do not know of any solenoids with longer studs. If you can't find one you could use one of these junction blocks and transfer some of your wiring over to it and put a jumper between it and the post on the solenoid.

The ford dealer is the only place that sells them. Be through it before.

I would think a distribution block from a car audio shop would work very well.

Others have recommended this before, I just haven't gotten around to doing it with my car...

just another option,

There's a similar thread going over at the Corral. So far the number that has come up is F5TU-11450-AA with a possible Motorcraft cross reference number SW1951C. Hopefully there will be some confirmation after somebody buys one.

My Stang has a F5TU-11450-BA Solenoid in it and the Studs are standard length.

David, are you Modular on the Corral? I think he was the thread starter on the thread Saleen0679 is talking about. Just in case:
