SES light on 15 minutes after prochamber and MIL install. Scanned codes and came up with P0161 (heated oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2). Trying to determine if my DM MILs are faulty or if my O2 sensor is bad. I want to add that I had to bang on the driver side rear O2 sensor to get it out since I stripped the threads trying to get it out. Wondering if that may have damaged the sensor. Please help. I hate driving with that light on. Thanks in advance.

*edit*

Your MIL eliminators are faulty. I had the exact same code when I made my own MIL elims- repatched it and the code went away. I had a loose connection.

The code is actually
P0161
O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

I THINK that code is for the drivers side. That's the side I redid anyway and the light went off- however the light went off for a short bit by itself during the week before I rewired it.

Yeah, it did say something about O2 sensor circuit malfunction. I will double check again that everything is tight. I should have mentioned it before but I want to add that I had stripped the O2 threads trying to remove it so I had to bang on the O2 sensor threads to make an indentation in order to remove it. Not sure if doing that would mess up the actual O2 sensor. Trying to decide if I might need another set of MILs or do I need to replace the O2 sensor itself.

The only problem that could arise from stripped threads is an exhaust leak. Since youre deactivating the O2 sensor that won't even trip the SES light. I'm sure your sensors are fine. The MIL elims are at fault.

I know its already too late, but heres the trick for getting the sensors out. I drove around for a month with the light on because I couldn't get the f'ers out.

Soak both sensors with PB Blaster, bang on em some to get the stuff flowin good.
Go ahead and slide on an offset o2 sensor socket with the ratchet.
Rev the hell out of it, get the pipes as hot as f##k.
(Dont use a torch, too easy to burn the wires)
A few good slams with a rubber mallet (swinging from the rear of the car forward) will knock it loose easily.
