hey guys, i was wondering if you guys have any old upper/lower intake manifolds or heads u wanna get rid of for free? im sure some of u guys have some rotting in your garage from a swap! im trying to learn how to port and polish this stuff. i have an old GT-40 style upper/lower intake i am going to start on.

if any of u guys have this stuff u wanna give out, let me know! i have a few 302 parts i can give to you for free in return (if u need it). i have the following old parts:

A/C pump w/ A/C canister
smog pump
stock pulleys
stock H-pipe (cats still on there including pre-cats)
cut up MAC cat back kit (needs to be welded and comes with chrome tips)
stock 89 GT wheels w/ worn out tires
all weather car cover for a fox body (gotta figure out where this went!)
stock headers
stock ignition coil
back seat for a vert (white)
back seat seat belts (red)
stock shifter assembly (T-5)
stock throttle body/EGR spacer

i have other parts that i cannot think of as well. let me know what u need for a trade!

hey Kris, If you get a pretty decent port job done on that GT-40 lower, let me take a look at it and I might buy it unless you are doing it for someone else.

i wouldnt mind buying your heads off you for $40! does it come with everything still attached or no? it doesnt matter to me whats on it or not! hell if the valves are missing, the easier it would be for me to port LOL!

the only problem is that i dont have time to drive down to oregon!

Hey is that you Torry?
i had to throw some JB Weld on a small crack that formed where the thermostat housing bolts up. that is all that is wrong with it. the upper is fine but a small vac pipe broke on it (POS!).
Do you have a GT40 upper to put on this lower? If so, ill hook u up with it for free to test it out and see how good i did. this will take a while though due to my work schedule but ill keep u posted. i am experienced in the military blending jet engine blades so i guess thats a start LOL!

Yeah its me, I dont have a GT-40 upper, I was just looking at getting a lower to match up to the KB s/c whenever I get it. Trying to piece things together with what little money I can spare from the wifey.

Yeah I did, it was a disaster though. I thought he still lived in Centralia so i drove all the way down there, payed for crappy Denny's food, drove up towards his place, but he didnt really know street names so it was hard to find it, but yeah I picked it up. When I get money to send it off, and when it comes back, I will swap them and you can have mine if you are still needing it here in a couple of months. I need to finish my MAF conversion before I can save up the money to send it off. John still needs to find those dang upper and lower hoses from the MAF meter so I can buy those off of him. Dont want to over pay for a couple of small hoses.
If you do a really good job on that GT-40 one, i will still take it off of your hands, I just put that on hold since it will be a long time before I get enough $$ to supercharge. Still need heads and a new tranny.

well, I was trying to help out a fellow stanger by purchasing his so he could get a little extra money for the gas he will be using on his break in period, but I dunno if he is really interested

Hey John, just let me know if you find them, who knows, they might show up while your are taking parts out to rebuild your engine again. And I can even come pick them up because now I know where you live and wont have too much troule finding it.
