I need some driveshaft advise. I have a 2006 auto GT with a roush m90 supercharger. The car is 100% stock other then
the blower. The question is Im going to the drag strip this weekend using 285/40/18 Nitto NT555R drag radials. Will my stock
drive shaft handle this or is this just a crazy idea. Is any one running the stock shaft with boost and drag radials without failure.
Thanks, John

I think you will be fine as long as you don't launch it repeatedly. The knuckles are what you would have to worry about.

In my own personal opinion, you will be fine.

How much HP you throwing down? Got a Drive shaft safety loop just in-case?

In my opinion, you should be fine as long as you're not laying down an insane amount of horsepower in your auto.

I know we have different setups, but I ran my Vortech'd GT 5-speed for almost a year (albeit on street tires) before I just wanted the added benefits of a one-piece driveshaft at the track, the strip and on the street. Never had one issue. Never got the safety loop, either.

And I'm a pretty "strong" driver when my wife's not in the car.
