Your are going to have to drill it out and tap it for the sensor

Either drill and tap it or some guys move their ACT sensor up to the tube between the MAF and the TB.

There is already a boss on the explorer lower for where the ACT sensor would go so it shouldn't be a big deal to drill and tap. Really that is the best way so you don't have to lengthen the wires.

I relocated mine to the tube between the MAF and TB and have had no problems as of yet.

I put mine in the air inlet tube. Thats where it was located on the 94 and 95 5.0's. It will read a colder air temperature in this location but I don't think it really improves performance.
