I need to find some headers and a midpipe for my car. The stock parts are no longer cutting it for the power that I am capable of and I am pretty sure this is hurting my cars performance. Over the winter I want to either put LTs or Shorties with a Catted X in the long run. Right now with my budget I will purchase a Off Road X to go with it. I was wondering what would be my best options. This car becomes a daily driver in the summer only. I was thinking about LTs into a Offroad X, But I have emissions and Have to pass here in MA. I was going to purchase a catted X later down the road so I would be able to pass. Should I just bite the bullet and go with LT's or should I stick with shorties and just swap my Stock H Pipe in for emissions, this way would save me alot of money imo. Which shorty headers should I get and which H pipe? I was thinking maybe mac shorty headers into a prochamber. But then again the MAC LTs have the sound I absolutely love. Do the MAC LT's Have an EGR bung on them for our year car?

I'm in MA too and was thinking about the same thing, so I’ve got that dilemma too. I'm thinking If I'm going to do it i might as well do it right the first time and get a catted X or H with long tubes. Rather than switching midpipes for a week every year.

Were you on route 1 today? I saw a car strikingly similar to yours.

How do you like your exhaust setup. I was wondering if I should go with the MAC shorties, probably get them in ceramic coated though.

How's the MAF I sold you working out?

Go with Longtubes, thats the best way to go!! I have ceramic bbk's and their ok. Their rusting between the tubes but I dont really care because I bought them used at a really good price. I would look into some hookers. I'd stay away from mac's. The stock exhaust is killing you, dude!
