Ok,I swap out the aode from my 95gt with a T-5 from a 94 V-6 mustang.Every thing bolted up fine but the starter doesn't hit the 5ltr flywheel. So i put the V-6 flywheel in and it hits and starts now.My question is how do i get the 5.0 flywheel to work cause the v-6 clutch isn't holding worth a damn. Please Help Thanks!

Why would you put the v6 tranny in?

The 94-95 mustangs have the same trans for either V-6 or V-8 only difference is the gear ratio and i like the higher first gear. The fox body are different the have a shorter input shaft.

Yep, the v6 stang and the T5 still in the v6 stang today (although no longer will the T5 be present for the 05' and on years), is rather close to the one you'd find in the older fox body 5.0-backed stangs.

Have you actually tried a 5 liter clutch, will it not fit, or did you just use the clutch from the donor car?

The V6 t-5 has a slightly lower torque rating. 250 ft-lbs i beleive.

What are the part numbers on the 5.0 flywheel. All i can say is that maybe you do not have the correct flywheel.

you need to compensate for the differences in input shaft lengths so that you can run a v8 clutch. i'm not sure exactly how to do this, possibly by getting a different pilot bearing, or maybe by swapping in a v8 input shaft, but once you get that problem taken care of, run a v8 flywheel and clutch
