I jsut recently purchased a pro 5.0 shifter. I am having trouble getting the stock shifter out of the tranny. How should I get it out? I followed all of the directions so far but cant seem to get the shifter to move.

remove the 4 bolts. then wobble the shifter around in every direction you can think of. You won't break anything. Just yank it out. Mine was pretty easy, but my car only have 1000 miles on it when I replace the shifter.

Pry bar might help, but it should not be that hard man. Good luck
