I scored a pair of Magnaflow xl mufflers for my 02 GT. Anyone with tips on cutting out the stockers and installing the mags, still using the rest of the stock exhaust? The new mags have 2-1/2 " inlet and outlets.

Let a good muffler shop BUILD u a system, or at least let them WELD your expensive new mufflers in place!

Just as long as the muffler shop doesn't cut the fuel line on your 2 month old 1994 Black 1LE Z28 as they are welding in the muffler...and as your car is burning they discover that their fire extinguishers are all out of date and not up to fire codes becuase they are all EMPTY...so you get to watch a car that you've only had for mostly a week total (because its been at the performance shop getting heads, cam, gears, headers and tuning; also with brand new wheels, tires and suspension upgrades) burn up right in front of your eyes...tygr1 said:Mine goes to the muffler shop.
