Need help figuring out what this electrical connector goes to

Hey guys,
I'm trying to find out why my temp gauage is not working. While under the dash I found this electrical connector (6 wire) not connected just hanging. This connector clips into a white plastic box with a black bottom, there is another gray connector ( 4 wire) already plugged into it. Does anyone have any idea what this goes to? I should add I just bought this 93 LX 5.0 with very little stock under the hood, so I am curious what this is before I connect it.

I bet your right ID89GT. The car has methanol alcohol injection and the previous owner used the WW container for the alcohol, so it would make sense it was disconnected purposely.
