I am in need of a set of b-pillar cap seals for my 90 convert. I have searched high and low. I did locate a left side (oem and repro) but no right side. So, obviously someone at sometime made reproduction seals. Just can't find them. Does anyone have any ideas on where or who I can contact?? I have attached a photo of the piece I need. Sorry, I didn't use my own car. It is in the shop getting painted. Which is why I need these gaskets.

Sorry, but those are NOT the pieces I need. The ones you linked me too are the top seals for the thin weatherstriping that runs along the door. I circled the piece on the attached photo that I am looking for. I contacted LRS and they don't carry them. Anybody else have any ideas or sources??

Currently, they are not in production, but I contacted one of our manufacturers to see about the possibility of getting them done.

That would be fantastic! I talked to Matt Laszaic today at NPD and they too want to get them produced. He did give me the proper part name which I was led to believe it was something different. It is quarter latch pillar seal or quarter lock pillar seal with OEM part number of E3ZZ-7628182-A for Rh and 8183-A for Lh. I did find a few better pics of the part though.

I know of a place that should have some good quality used ones for you. They are local to me but I try to avoid them due to their high prices. I only go there when I can't find what I need anywhere else.

Look up Prestige Mustang Parts - Your #1 source for used antique and late model Mustang parts.

He has an awesome supply of parts but is expensive.

Give them a call. Ask for Todd

Good Luck

Where did you find the left side ones?

That is correct. The supplier I spoke to did make a run of them several years ago from the OE tooling & was not pleased with the fitment. So he's re-engineered the tooling for a better than stock part. Looks to be about 6 months out.

I need these also...my car doesn't see water unless I wash it...mind are all torn and rotted.

I battled for a pair of these on eBay 7-8 years ago and gave up when they hit $200,they ended up going for close to 3 bills with shipping. These were used but looked brand new.

best bet is to hit up the JY, CL, Flea Bay or the Corral for somebody parting out. Prestige charges crazy prices and have several complaints about quality of their parts.

I posted above a couple years ago about the other place. LOL
You might try MPS Autosalvage. I've had good luck and good experiences with these folks over the years on used and new parts. You'll probably need to call to have them check on these parts.

I live in Georgia and live within driving distance of them and Prestige.

I also am "not" a fan of Prestige Mustang these days.
