Ok guys, so here is the deal. I am currently building a 331 Mexican Stroker and I need to find an oil to make it work.
This is an early 70's block so there is no actual provision in the block for an Oil dipstick. I'm pretty sure they read the oil from the pan itself. With that said, I need to find a pan that will fit this block, fit the FOX chassis, and have provisions for an oil dipstick. I am considering running a main girdle at this point because I may be pushing 450+ hp when im done...
The question is, how should I go about with this oil pan ordeal? I am having troubles finding oil pans that I am sure that will work. Ideally, i want to find the cheapest possible solution that will accomendate everything. If you have suggestions, or know what pans are available to me. Please post the comments up with part #'s and where I can find the stuff. And tell me if im wrong in any of assumptions.
