Front sump oil pan with dipstick

I am putting a 1974 302 into a fox body. (89GT) . I need a front sump oil pan with a dipstick/ and port built in…..or was that port built into a timing cover? My 302 has neither the oil pan or timing cover with it…it also doesn’t have a port in the block such as with my 5.0

Are there any commercially available or which vehicles might i use as donors….or rather search on eBay for?

Could be wrong ....but I don't think a front sump pan will fit in a foxbody due to the steering rack and cross member design

100% correct. You need a Fox Mustang oil pan however the 80 and up cars had the dipstick in the block.

It appears that the 1979 Mustang had it in the pan.
