I need to find some parts for my 1990 Isuzu 4WD Truck. I would rather new so Im not going to a junkyard. The tranny is ****ed. SO Im thinking entirely new tranny, or new internals. now the problem is that I can find parts. It has the 2.6 I4 engine and is 4WD like I said earlier. Anyone know if it would be the same as an S10 from that time? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

They are both GM products so I figured that thney might be the same mechanically. Did S10's come with a 2.6?

I believe GM put either a 2.5L I4, 2.8 V6, or 4.3 V6 in the S10/15 back then. I used to have a 91 Sonoma with the 2.5 many moons ago.

Ok I found out thery werent the same untill the mid 90's when the Hombre came out.

Im assuming the tranny in a 2WD would be different from a 4WD truck? Cause there are TONS of Rodeos around here I could get a tranny from.
