need help finding specific security system

tried searching, not commin up with desired results...i read a WHILE ago, probs talkin pre crash of '05, about this one security system that has a GPS tracking device in it, that can be viewed from your home computer, and if the car is stolen, can be tracked and disabled

maybe im remembering someones tard remark that isnt true, but can someone link me to said device?
