Need Help on A/C Delete

I need to know how to discharge system to do the a/c delete on my 88 lx

pop the cap and stick a screw driver in there and let it out. you'll get a thousand people saying oh my god its so bad for the enviroment and tell you to take it down to get it done. but who cares do it the way you want

Be sure not to expose ur skin to the freon, plz. Use a long screw driver.

loosen the nut on the top right side of the ac, when it starts to hiss close the hood and walk away,come back in about 30 min. and your done

A shop that does a/c work will recover it for you, usually free of charge. I did it to make up for my guilty conscience of running a catless H pipe.

I took mine to an AC shop and they did the whole thing while I stood back and BS'd with the guy. I'm no tree hugger, but this seems like a no brainer to me.

You might as well just bring it in and do it right. It ins't any harder or more expensive, figuring most of the time it is free. But all in all it is up ro your

Yea no kidding, not like it's any worse than when my car's AC leaked in the first place, causing me to remove the damn thing. When they design leak proof AC systems, then i'll give a damn.
