need help quick!! starter bolt

What is the exact combination of socket extensions or what ever to get the top starter bolt....been working at it for 3 hrs....

3 feet and an swivel at the end. Go through the engine mount on the K member.

that is one of the ways we were trying... just could not quite get the socket to sit on the nut flush.. did you have the swivel directly connected to the socket..

I had this same exact problem. The answer above will work. As far as I could tell there is only one way through. I played with it until I got the extension right next to the bolt then attached the socket. Once I knew "the way" I did not have to do this again and was able to pass it through with the socket attached. I just took out my transmission so I feel your pain. See the TCI post below. If it does not go right up to it, go out and back in at a slightly different spot. I do not have my car here or I would go out and take a pic for you. Hope you get it.

finally got the bolt out...what a pain...i finally used a small ratchet with a small head and was able to position it just right...got all the bolts out or loose... see how it goes in the morning dropping it down...
