Whats up guys... Its been a while. But here is it.

So i just rewired my new foglights i got for xmas using a relay. Heres the link i used.... http://www.corral.net/tech/maintenance/foglights.html.

So using this write up was real great and super easy to follow. My switch doesnt heat up, theres less of a draw on my electrical system ( i have bbk pully set and the voltage drops on the gauge..well used to) and its just an over all fix to the factory FORD wiring tech from the 80's...

Anyway. I want to do the same thing for my headlights (high and low beams) because theyre just not bright enough for night driving. I just cant seem to find a write up that includes both high/low rewiring with 2 relays and having use of the stock switch... Or maybe someone can just tell me how to adapt that fog light rewire to do headlights instead. thanks

jrichker might have some specific diagrams, but if you would like some general diagrams to look at until then, this is a good website to checkout:
http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/relays/relays.html
there are diagrams on wiring there as well as some theory. Second time in a week I've referenced that website on here, lol. One of these days I'll wire my lights to relays too. I have the relays, just waiting for the.....motivation to do it.

I have that website bookmarked actually. LOL. I just need to know what wires are what.. i was going to just buy that harness from RJM but i already have two 25/30 amp relays and all the connectors and wires so i figured I'd do it my self since i just did my fogs. After I posted this thread I saw another threat that was post about a 9007 conversion too.. You'd figure there would be more info on the internet about this upgrade/fix for our foxes.. Im a great mechanic but wiring is deff not my cup o' tea.. If i could find a write up that connects the dots like that one for the fogs, thatd be nice... JRICHKER?
