What's up? I was wondering if anyone could get me a part# for a cross pin for a 7.5 rear? I put 4.11's but had to grind the pin to give me room to put the clips on the axle. Never doing this before i notched the wrong sides of the pin now causing a little travel side to side with the axles.
Ive tried my ford dealer and ofcourse they act like there supposed to help me or something and said they had no listing for one. I have seen the notched pin in a haynes manual.
I have alot of tumbbling sound threw all the gears at about 3200 rpm little nervous something will break while i have my son in the car. I have the shims to put in there but can't locate the cross pin i need.
I am sure someone knows what i am talking about or has run into this before.
When i put the diff back together i could not have the diff in then slide the pin in i had to rig the diff up with the pin then put it back in the rear.
So any help would be apprecciated.
