need help with axles and gears on 04 gt

i have been looking for 31 spline axles and 4.10 gears. is there a set with everything somewhere i haven't seen? i have seen the moser and frpp axles , and have been looking at frpp and motive gears. the main question i have is are there certian gears for the 31 spline? or are the gears universal and have no direct connection to the axles? also isn't the rear limited slip? or do i need a posi. spool? thanks for the help i'm new to the drivetrain systems part of my mustang

gears have no relation to the spline count. however if you convert to 31 spline axles, you need a 31 spline diff. the type of diff you run depends on what you want to do with the car.

I just did Strange 31 spline axles and an Eaton Posi in my 04. I already had FRPP 373's which I reused. I also had Moroso 3 inch studs put in so I can legally run slicks at the track.

FRPP gears are the way to go... they are usually very quiet unlike most others.

He's right. Whatever you do FRPP is the only way to go when it comes to gears

A spool isn't very streetable so if you are using this as a daily driver then go with and Eaton posi or an Auburn.

So if i wanted to beef my rear a little bit, the Eaton posi , ford 3.73's and the strange 31 splines will work together? How hard is the install, is it somthing i can do with moderate skill?
