It is a 15/16 socket if I remember right. My fan is too close to my blower pulley so I cant go test it.

Yes, it is a 15/16 socket, I just took mine off a couple days ago. I'd HIGHLY recommend using and impact, otherwise it will be a royal pain to get o broken loose!

I just put the car in 5th and used a 1.5 foot long breaker bar. It came loose without much trouble. A regular ratchet would make the job tough though

Just an alternative, in case you can't get the bolt loose at all: I paid $30 for a local (non-chain) muffler shop to do the install. This shop is a little different than some, because most of the guys also do major work with race cars for the owner, i.e. tranny installs, engine installs, suspension upgrades, and just about anything else you want (you can even bring in most any part for them to install). Hard to find places inexpensive around here to do aftermarket installs for the parts I can't do myself.

Anyways, just thought I'd add this $0.02 worth. Hopefully you can do it yourself for free. I got my parts at Autozone to do the job, but I couldn't get the main bolt loose.

You seem pretty well set, as long as you have the Pully puller (which you do). I have a new Romac ballancer but its not going on until this spring when the car is out for the summer and I get it over to a friends where were doing all the other work to.

Yet More Balancer ?s

I just bought my 94 GT Vert with 153k on the clock. It was suggested that I replace the balancer. Sounds like Pioneer balancers are popular. Is the 50oz one the correct size and should I worry about an SFI application if my Stang is just a cruiser?

Either the Poineers or the Romacs seem to work well. The Romac will be a little more expensive, I just got mine for $209 shipped. Either way you ought to be fine, but whatever you do, don't get another stock one, they are crap!
