Today I ran over a curb an hit my passenger side running board. It popped off and it is still in one piece, but I can't get the plastic into those holes. Any advice? I was on a date whe it happened and he laughed at me and said I am a bad driver because I am a girl!

thread moved to the section where you'll get some input. And why didn't he fix it for you?

My thread was moved? Or I need to move it? And he didn't fix it because he was making fun of me for driving like a girl. We got into it, let's just say we won't be going out again

Got any local body shops around? I'm sure if you stop by and politely ask, or just smile pretty, they will slap it back on for you in a few minutes.

I'm confused.... So you grabbed the stick, then popped off on the passenger side, couldn't get it in the hole but it's still in one piece? Got a pic?

I did what you had said, and you were right! Under the running board were clips that locked it onto the body. He pulled them out and put the clips back in again. No charge
