I have a ranger 1995 2.3 in a 90 mustang.Was running great for years.
But now it suck gaz like a school bus.
I notice also that it ping at high speed(60-70 mph) when trying do go faster.
Here are the codes.
172 (R,M) Oxygen sensor not switching - system is or was lean - Single, Right or Rear HO2S - Fuel control
538 (R) System did not receive "goose" test
I checked the timing.Its at 20° with the sput out.I know it should be at 10°.
When i put back the sput on, the timing just dont move and stay at 20°.
So the code 172 say its lean but its hard on gaz!?
