I was driving back from class today and all of a sudden my mustang starts sounding like an old farm truck, you know that puttering tin can sound. I just got a catback, new intake, see sig. My first thought was that some of the catback had came loose so i checked all the bolts and they were fine, then i checked the intake, it was tight as well. I then got my friend to give it gas as i lay on the grown beside it and it sounds to me like the noise is coming from either the factory h pipe or the headers. It idles fine and doesnt seem like it lost power so i hope its not the engine. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? I cant take it to a shop till monday so im leaving it parked this weekend to avoid damage/more damage. Any help would be much appreciated.
